The World Cup is open to teams from Melbourne’s multicultural communities. A maximum of 16 teams will compete.

To be eligible to represent your community, players must meet one of the following criteria:
1. he/she has ancestry e.g. born in the country or has a parent or grandparent born in the country which he/she is representing, or
2. he/she can demonstrate a significant link to the country e.g. marriage or partner
