The Darwin 9s will be held on Saturday 7 August, 2021 at Rugby Park, Marrara.
12 teams will compete in both the Men’s and Women’s Division on the day. Confirmed teams so far include PINT Queenants, Tiwi Bombers, Nightcliff Tigers, Wanderers Eagles, Tracy Village Bushpigs, Darwin Buffettes (Women’s Division) and Nightcliff Tigers, St Marys & Darwin (Men’s Division).
The first match will begin at 10.00am and the grand finals will start at 4.00pm. The great facilities at the venue include two excellent playing fields, changerooms, grandstand, bars, food trucks and canteen. There is also plenty of parking at the venue, which is free.
It’s going to be an amazing day as we showcase the potential of Aussie Rules to become a truly international sport!

All of our umpires will be provided with a brand new uniform (official shirt, shorts, socks & wristbands), which will be yours to keep. Umpires will also be paid $100 if available for the full day, or $50 if available for half the day.
