Emerging Members

To become an Emerging Member of Australian Football International (AFI), a country must meet the following criteria:

• A strong interest in growing and developing Footy 9s.
• The creation of at least one senior Footy 9s team.
• Have access to a playing field.
• Have a person who will act as the key contact for Footy 9s.

Once a country meets these criteria, it can apply for emerging membership.
